I really don't like it when it is against reality our (American) fighters superiority is not in dog fights, its in stealth and beyond visual range and electronic systems advantages. In reality the older russian airplanes have advantage in such a close encounter. but I guess shooting down an airplane from far before seeing doesn't make a good holywood movie.

I love how a "hypersonic" plane doesn't extend and egress and let the AI plane, fight the fight, then, when the fight is over, rally with said plane, while talking to it, "Hey, you've got this, you're better than me, I'll rally when you destroy. How copy?" I don't think AI is going to say, "You pussy! Get in the fight!" The AI is going to say, "HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THE FIREWORKS!" This was one of the absolute dumbest scenes in the movie. #Fact!

The general in both the game and the movie also both have the same motivations. Losing thousands of men and nobody caring, then taking out his anger on society/waging war. General Shepherds betrayal was motivated for his bloodlust to avenge his men that died in the nuke in COD4. Hummel had the same for his men as well.
